I recall watching the show and wincing now and then when I saw how well behaved the parents were. And, as you say, poor Mattie and Cara they were expected to grow up so fast because the situation required it. I can only imagine that they are going to be some angry teenage years ahead of them. I wish both Jon and Kate the best, and their children also. I don't know if I will watch the show if it returns, but I think that it would be in the best interest of the children to not return to the big screen.
